Hello to all my fellow readers. Today, I am writing to you all to inform you of a new adventure that I will be starting with my friend and fellow author, Andrew Balog.
Andrew and I have begun a podcast called "Of Lore and Malice" that will be available on YouTube, Spotify, and wherever podcasts can be heard. Of Lore and Malice will explore topics related to horror (our writing, in a sense), the paranormal, the unexplained, lore, and unsolved crimes — especially those that might lean toward a paranormal explanation. We have recorded our first show, and the plan is to release it on Thursday, June 12th (just a couple of days away). We're looking forward to bringing you expertly researched tales of all the strange and amazing things that take place around us, and getting your feedback in the process. Keep an eye out for Of Lore and Malice this week.
A couple of other quick notes of importance, should you want to come chat with me and/or pick up a signed copy of my work. This year, I have focused on larger events and larger stores. I still absolutely love my indie stores and I will always support them, but if you have a passion to write for a living (like I do), you have to hit the big ones, as well. So, with that said, I have been informed that most BAM! stores (Books-a-million) throughout New England are carrying copies of Isolation and Beyond the Autumn Leaves (as well as select Barnes & Noble locations around New England like Salem, NH). In August, I will begin a New England BAM! book tour with dates to be announced on this site. (There are two official dates and locations, and at least two others that we are working on scheduling.) Additionally, I will be attending the Maine Book and Print Festival (along with Andrew Balog himself--we will talk about our writing and our podcast here) on September 6th and 7th in Waterville, Maine, and, as previously announced, the Brooklyn Book Festival in Brooklyn, NY, on September 21st. There are two other large events that I would love to announce, but I am waiting for official confirmation on them. Needless to say, if you follow my socials (Facebook: Author Jared Grace; Instagram: Paranormaljared; TikTok: authorjaredg) and this website, you will get updates as soon as they are available.
Thanks for reading, everyone. I hope you are willing to give a listen to Of Lore and Malice when it releases this week. Subscribe, like, and follow the podcast (and don't forget to find and follow Andrew Balog, as well. I think you'll love his work). Come down to your local BAM! (and of course, the indie bookstores) and ask for a copy as well. And, as always, don't forget to rate and review on Goodreads and Amazon. I can't emphasize enough how important it is.
Thank you all for your continued support, and I hope to see you out there this summer and fall. Happy reading.
